Todays my Birthday!..Reflection

Today is my birthday and I am just reflecting over my life. I am proud to say I am not in the same place I was my last birthday. I've grown this last year, I have not arrived yet, but I am still evolving. I have successfully completed seven months of college. I made the dean's list twice so far. And I have praise God maintained a 4.0 GPA . I am really proud of my self and what I've managed with Gods help to accomplish. I look forward to what this next year has to hold and I plan to seize every moment and every opportunity. xoxox

Stepping into true Democracy...Dawn of a New Day

WOW! I am still reeling from the absolute High I experienced yesterday watching President Barack Obama being sworn in as our 44Th President of the United States. I never thought I would see in my life time a person of Color being elected as President. I am overjoyed and thrilled that I am here along with my children to witness such a historical day. Growing up our parents and teachers would tell us "work hard and one day you can even become president" REALLY? How could they expect a child of color to ever believe they could become president, when non of the previous 43 presidents looked like them. But it's a new day now and we are FINALLY able to tell our children that they too can become president and really mean it. A time many years ago when Blacks and other people of color were not allowed to be involved with any decision making and today President Barack Obama will be in charge of making the decisions for our nation. I truly feel we have come full circle....This is what TRUE Democracy looks like. Welcome Mr. President, welcome.

I just came across this really cool site, One true Media, I am sure it's nothing new, I'm just late lol. Anyhoo it's a great site if you want to create a picture or video montage/movie of your self or loved ones. It has a great selection of effects, music etc. I was playing around and I created a picture montage of my little princess. It's my first one so go easy on me lol. I hope you like it. Mr President

I have a secret I've been hiding, you want to know what it is?......I have a little crush on President Barack Obama. Nothing sexual, so get your minds out the gutter lol. Now don't get me wrong President Obama is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous! but what I'm attracted to with our new president is that he is soooo freaking Smart, in fact he's so smart that he makes his predecessor and former running mate look dumb(for lack of a better word). He is charismatic. a great orator and he is such an out of the box thinker. I LOVE IT! I told you guys I love a smart and intelligent man.....that to me is sexy. This is the first time I have gotten into the political process and also the first time I feel safe in my country of birth. I think I have brought every news paper clipping and magazine, in an effort to capture this historic event. I have two son's that will grow up and I want them to have this piece of history, that they can pass down to their children. I want them to also know that the only limitations are those we place on our selves.

I hate the fact that people have judged him and spoke unpatriotically against him before he has even taken office. It's not that people aren't ready for change, it's I believe that they are afraid of change. But my friends change is GOOD. If your not able to get past his brown skin, maybe the fact that he proceeded out of the womb of his white mother should bring you a little comfort. Just give him a chance let's lift up the arms of our newly elected leader because "United we stand...Divided we fall"....The sky is truly the limit.

Just because you have children doesn't mean you have to give up on being sexy. Sexy isn't only physical, I find smart and intelligent men sexy, because they are able to stimulate me mentally and for me that's important. Well here's one sexy intelligent milf signing off.

Happy New Year!......Vacation Over

Well I've been on a two week winter break and I did ABSOLUTELY Nada! I was able to catch up on months of sleep lol. Classes start back on Monday and I am ready to get back into the swing of things. I have a math class ugh! but no worries, if I can pass Advance biology with a perfect score (A+) I can tackle math. I am soo excited to go back to school, only 3 more classes until I finish my General Ed classes. In May I start my core classes and clinicals. I have to get my daughter into school, because come May I will be going to school during the day full time. I am sooo super excited about my future, it is really starting to look bright.

I love the career path I am taking, it pays great, recession free and I can travel if I choose. The benefits are endless. The greatest benefit of all I can help my son that has autism. Being a single(milf) mother of three can be a bit daunting at times, but going back to college was the best thing I did for myself and my children. I know we will be OK, the future is ours to have and the sky is the F*&king limit. Never again will I settle or accept less then I deserve. I am FINALLY free! free to live, free to dream, free to make plans and set goals because FINALLY I have have a future and a hope... Besos xoxo

An 80's Moment

I have been having such an 80's moment. Don't ask me why I really don't know. It has been all about Debarge for the past three days. I have been listening to the song "Love me in a special way" I am totally in love with that song and with El, James and Chico Debarge. Wow that song with some of my mom's peach cobbler and the right person would make for one hell of a night.

I think this whole 80's thing has got me falling in love with Debarge all over again. I saw the documentary Unsung on TV One and my heart totally breaks for them and what they endured growing up. This song has on some level made me miss my FRIEND but hey I'll get past it. I will use this song to just reflect on the good memories we share and press on. I am going to try and add this song on to the blog so hopefully it will work. I love the entire song but the following are my favorite verses from the song.
